Dr. Joseph L. Gueste, Is the organizing pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Moreno Valley, California. Pastor Gueste was born October 21,1950 in Senatobia, Mississippi. He is a graduate of Austin High School in Chicago, Illinois. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps, which included one tour in Vietnam 1968-69.
Pastor Gueste is married to Dr. Verdean Gueste and they have six children, three boys and three girls, thirteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Pastor Gueste is a graduate of the University of La Verne with a Bachelor of Science degree. He has also received the degrees of M.Div, M.R.E, and D.Min from Seminary/Bible College.
Pastor Gueste has twenty years work experience in the aerospace industry. He was licensed into the ministry in July of 1978 by the Friendship Baptist Church in Yorba Linda, California, under the leadership of Dr. James D. Carrington. He was ordained in July of 1984, by the Friendship Baptist Church. His ordination was recognized by the American Baptist Churches PSW in February of 1985.
Pastor Gueste is presently or has served in capacities such as: Board of Directors for Green Lakes Conference Center, National Board of Church Planning for ABCUSA, Church Planning Associate for ABSPSW, Church Resource Minister for Transformation Ministries, Transformation Ministries Black Caucus, Riverside County Sheriffs Chaplain’s Corps, and Moreno Valley Hospital/Kaiser Chaplain’s Corp.

Dr. Verdean Gueste, First Lady of Trinity Baptist Church, was born April 25, 1955 in Helena, Arkansas. She is a graduate of Mansfield High School in Mansfield, Ohio. She has received the degrees of Associate Degree in Theology, B.TH, M.R.E, and D.Min from Seminary/Bible College.
Dr. Verdean Gueste has many years of work experience in security and retail. She was licensed into the ministry in March of 2004 by the Trinity Baptist Church in Moreno Valley, California, under the leadership of Dr. Joseph L. Gueste. She was ordained in September 2016 by the Trinity Baptist Church.
Dr. Verdean Gueste is presently or has served in capacities such as: Director of Women’s Ministry for TBC, Bible study teacher, Member of the Board of Directors for Transformation Ministries and Secretary for the Board’s Executive Committee, Member of the Search Team for Mission Lead for Transformation ministries, The Assistant Director for Transformation Ministries Black Caucus.
Together, Pastor Gueste and Dr. Verdean Gueste, make an awesome team for the ministry of Trinity Baptist Church.
